Our History
After years of valuable experience working in his family’s Reidsville jewelry store, Michael Parsons followed his heart and set off to perfect his craft. Michael attended the Trenton Jewelry School and the Gemological Institute of America, and has been a gemologist since 1981.
Post graduation Michael worked as a jeweler and manager at stores in Bristol, Virginia, and Rocky Mount, North Carolina, but he always felt there was something more he wanted to do. He wanted his own jewelry store, a store incorporating his own concepts of quality, fashion, and unparalleled customer service.
In 1985 Michael moved to North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, and became the proprietor of Michael’s Jewelry, The opening of this store was the culmination of his belief that customer satisfaction was priority, and quality jewelry can be affordable. .
